To whom it may concern, I am writing on behalf of the crohns and colitis foundation of western New York. I was wondering if the band might consider doing a " fundraising night" where a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales could be donated to our organization or perhaps patrons from the show could donate an additional $1 to our organization from one of your shows. Hi Mark just have a couple of questions and things were buttoning up for the wedding on at Klocs. First thing is how u want the names of the wedding party. Do u want them on a card, emailed, whatever's easier for u to do the introduction for us. Song list: we have a bunch picked out for yous , once again would u rather have them emailed to u or written down, whatever's easier. I need to hear from everyone who wants to play in our (Fastpitch Softball) tournament this year. I will be wanting to reserve a block of hotel rooms. This is called the Northeast Regionals. The Syracuse team we played last year lost in the finals of the national Tournament of Champions in Florida this February. So they are no "average" club.

One of the guys I graduated from college is, you could say a "GROUPY". He loves your group and follows you around. One of the other guys was a bit of a smart ass on labeling him a "groupy" by going to stand up front near the stage. The date at the beach will be June 29 from 6;30-10:30 this is a beach bar at Woodlawn State Park near Hamburg NY across from the Ford Plant on route 5....they have a stage and bar/ restaurant on the beach...they will transport your gear to the beach in their trucks....stage is covered and you are up off the sand on a stage YOU NEED YOUR PA/LIGHTS......IF RAIN THEIR TRYING TO MAKE IT WHERE.if the weather is bad you would play up at the Pavilian HOPEFULLY the party goes on rain or Thanks

It will be my first half marathon & it is in celebration of my one year survivorship of breast cancer! Hi Mark, Rich asked me to touch base with you regarding adult hip hop class sessions. Here’s some info: The Future Dance Center. Epic Dance Steppin’ , Dance Spectrum. If you’re looking for exercise & to learn a few moves, then I imagine schedule/location will be most important. Rich just started Lancaster softball season so not sure which night he’s be mostly free, if serious about taking a class. If you just want some dance moves for a few particular songs, I can help you with that - I’m a Zumba instructor so creating cool basic choreo to songs is what I do… Sounds like you’re looking for more of a regular workout, though. Will have Rich call you about his “idea” – not sure what he’s talking about there. Hope that helps!

I go to YMCA Southtowns Wed & Fri 11 30 ~ 12 30... Hip hop dance is street/free style, where as Zumba is Latin base ( cha cha ,salsa)...But also done to modern day music..PitBull, Maroon 5, Rhianna...Not much difference, * all depends on a good instructor*.....Zumba is also a GREAT cardio workout.......

Hi Mark, I ran into a couple of my friends this weekend who were at the Junior League gala last weekend (one is a JL Gala Committee member) and said that they absolutely loved the band and said that you guys were absolutely awesome!! Mark, This is Larry’s friend Ron. Vinnie Lesh is now the sole owner of Iris/ Forum (Old Dakota Grill On Maple & Sweet Home) I don’t know if you have been there but he just took the wall out between the Forum which was the rock club and the Iris which was the restaurant/jazz club. It is one huge room now with capacity for 600. This is an ideal place for you guys to play. Vinnie has been focusing on regional and national acts but is starting to bring in local acts. I would reach out to Vinnie to see if he can bring you guy in on a regular basis. It blows the Yellow Jaguar away. The stage is huge and their new in-house PA rocks. I would go there and talk to him and check the place out. I think you would really like it.

I'm doing okay. The ankle is healing so it's kind of a struggle for me. I don't know how other people get around. Got crutches when I let the hospital but I'm unsteady on them. I'm planning on coming Saturday (to9 Queen of Heaven dance). Jimmy has a wheelchair so I'll be in the wheelchair. So disappointed and mad that I cannot go see Bon Jovi tonight. You (Hit n Run) are the only one (band/musician) that has contacted (to check on) me. The crew says they all miss me and I miss coming out to see the band and everyone. So Saturday will be a treat for me.

Hi Mark, I rec’d your response about your availability, rates, etc. for November at Salvatore’s. Yes, this event would be for our company - we’ll be hosting a dinner for our team members to celebrate 95 years in business. Based upon what you had said, we’d like to go ahead and book your band for that evening. At this point, we’re looking at 6:00-midnight – the idea is to have some dinner music to start out with (cocktails at 6, dinner at 7), then nice dance tunes followed by classic rock. Also, we’ll want to have a few speeches, but would like to be able to use your microphones for this if possible. I’m sure we can work out all of the details as it gets closer. Mark, this Syracuse (fastpitch softball) tournament in late August is the only "local" tournament that I'll be putting a team into. However the other thing I've gotten in to over the last couple of years are tournaments held in more exotic places- I've played in Spain (1 week in Madrid, 1 week in Barcelona), twice in Hawaii (obviously still in the US for that but still a great place to go), and will be playing in Ireland and Scotland this summer, on a 2 week deal. I heard a trip to China is likely going to happen this autumn, although. These trips are great vacations with softball mixed in, and I've met some terrific people on them. If something like that should light your fire I can keep you posted on what's in the pipeline. Also, we wear "USA" uniforms on these things,which is kind of cool, kind of a thrill to me to represent the USA, even if it's strictly a volunteer, "pay your own way" team. Previous trips I haven't been on have gone to Japan, Germany, and Cuba, and no doubt we will return to those places in the future. Hope you can play shortstop on our tournament fastpitch team for these trips.

Hi Mark- I know there are 6 months to go, but I also assume you make your band bookings well in advance. I'd love it if you could join us for this tournament this year. This is a fast pitch tournament. The Northeast Regional Softball tournament is to be held in Syracuse Friday August 23 through Sunday the 25th. There will be Friday games, it will mean driving to Syracuse on Thursday evening probably, and a 3 night hotel stay. We have a real strong team made up of guys from the Buffalo area as well as a few from Erie PA. If you have any interest let me know. Thanks...

I have never been to either of those (Clarence or Cheektowaga) towns (4th of July event) events but think Clarence is a market you should consider since your already very popular in Cheektowaga and could expand your following a bit. On the other side of the coin, you would probably have a huge attendance in Cheektowaga which would give you leverage in the future to get top dollar for your services. Personally, I hope to see you guys back in Lancaster on the main venue in 2014!

July 4, Rats would be interested depending on money- what are you looking for for the date- it's a great party out there- fireworks bonfires would be a fun gig. I could look at you as the night band- normal 10-2 inside or could do a couple sets on the patio late afternoon- could get the band back into the city to do fireworks with your families! For that matter the families can come to rats and make a beach day of it.

Hi Mark, Here is my NYE reply. I vote for the Hyatt. Going to the Yellow Jag is just like going there on any other Friday. The Hyatt, as you said, was prestigious, something you don't do everyday. It gave us a chance to really dress up, have a great dinner, stay in a nice room, not worry about driving home, etc. Nothing against the other clubs, and I'm sure it would still be a good time, but for a special event like this, the atmosphere and accommodations will not compare to the Hyatt.

I just heard the other day that Bon Jovi is going to be playing at First Niagara center. I just got a pair of tickets today. I heard they have no opener. Not sure why. The first thought that popped into my head was that Hit N Run should open for them. I know Mark has meet Jon, not sure if you guys have ever open for them but how cool would that be. Maybe you should have rented Club Paradise and put on a HNR New Year’s Eve Party. Wonder how feasible that would be ? It’s a simple concept. You get some beer and a band and you charge at the door. Sounds like a winner. We’ll work out the details at golf.

May 17 31 possibly could look at using the band on the show with Jack FM on memorial day the 27th June is pretty flexible still I can probably move anything I have booked July saturdays are open the 3rd and maybe 4th are open aug only real bad dates are 9 & 24 have spots for festival shows 6/23 & 8/4 left also, but not sure which radio stations they will be partnered with yes. If you can start feeding me dates that you think may work I will stay away from locking someone else in on those. I would like to make sure we get dates on Hit'n Run nut I also have to make sure I don't miss out on other acts they want by waiting to long.

I agree that Annette giving a months advance notice to her current band is very professional. I like her and I think she will be a good fit. Gina and Paula just wanted to hear her before we decided on New Years Eve. I told them she was good and they liked that she is in another band so she is experienced. Gina even wondered why you needed a female singer since she thought you sounded fine on Saturday without one. NYE is Gina's birthday so she gets to decide what we are doing especially since you picked such a high class place to play :) At least HNR made the cut...we are down to three options and are going to decide on Friday at the the Jag.

Mark, Even though the first snow still hasn't fallen it's time to start putting together the schedule for summer 2013 at Mickey Rats. As possible acts for the 2013 season I brought up Hit'N Run. The club would be interested in using the group if they can get 3 (three) dates booked between memorial day weekend and labor day weekend. To answer a few of your questions: Date: Saturday, June 8th backline and stage will be provided. lighting depends on your requests and your needs. there will be multiple bands playing so yes, you will share backline, again unless there are some special needs we need to address with your stageplot. This is the first year that we are producing this event, with hopes to grow the festival along the lines of the Hamburg Music Festival.. Not sure if you seen, but I was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer and had surgery on Tuesday. Been having good days and bad days with it since then. I will be at the Sting fundraiser though for sure. Hi Mark- Every winter for 20+ years a bunch of guys have been going to Ft Lauderdale for a few days of softball. If somehow you could join us we would love to have you. It's a good bunch of guys. This year we are going Tuesday Jan 29 through Saturday Feb 2. We will have a batting practice Tuesday afternoon and then games Wed, Thurs and Friday mornings, and a 3 game round robin tournament on Saturday morning. We play on some very nice fields in Pompano Beach, which is on the north side of Ft Lauderdale. The teams we play are very good players. The afternoons and evenings are free for whatever else you want to do. If you have any interest let me know and I'll give you more details.

Hi Mark, The function is for Buffalo (Non-profit) every other year we do the show house to raise money, year after we donate the money to a local nonprofit. The Gala will be in East Aurora at a 14,000 sq foot estate. I do not have the hours pinned down but most likely 8-11:30. We expect about 400 people.
